Farewell to Penny dreadful

SPOILER ALERT -
If you have not watched the Season 3 finale of Penny dreadful, I must warn you there are big spoilers below -

Honestly, i always knew that its going to end this way.. But this soon?

I have a mixed feeling about this. If I were Vanessa, i would have chosen the same path probably.. She was strong but all the pain and sufferings she has been through.. ? of course, you will get suicidal thoughts. I always love a strong female character in a story. Vanessa is one of my favorite from all times. She is beautiful, elegant, strong and Fierce at the same time. It was hurtful to see her suffer and possessed by some devils every now and then. At least, now She is free from her sufferings.
At the same time, I feel like, it would have been to see her fight the Dracula, like she did the Lucifer and Kali in the second season. It was thrilling to see when she broke the voodoo doll with all those demonic chants in season finale. I loved that. I was hoping to see something like that but when she gave up herself to Dracula saying that "I accept myself" .. It was clear that she is tired of fighting and she wants to rest now.. but i was still hoping everything not to end so soon..

The other amazing character - Dr. Seward. I really loved her witch version in season 2. Even after being a doctor and Psychiatrist, She trusted Ives and her pain. She listened to her. She helped to find the Dracula in the season Finale. I am totally in love with her.

Frankenstein Creature- My favorite episodes this season "A Blade of Grass", where Vanessa goes in the flashback with the help of Dr. Seward and remembers how Mr. Clare (Creature) helped her during her stay in Banning Clinic .

Now, It was so sad to see him alone in the end. He lost his son, his wife pretty much asked him to leave unless he gets his son back and the only friend he had - Miss Ives, also left him. It brings tears to my eyes thinking that he can't die and probably has to be alone forever.

Nonetheless, it was shocking to see "The End" in the end of the episode.

As it is clear now that this was the last season of Penny Dreadful, I feel like i am not ready to say Goodbye yet but .. I am hoping to see something similar coming up from the directors/producers.
